Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Incident Response Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in incident response, cybersecurity, and data privacy law. This individual will play a crucial role in advising the company on legal matters related to data breaches, security incidents, and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal guidance and support during cybersecurity incidents and data breaches.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, security, and compliance teams, to develop incident response plans and protocols.
  • Conduct internal investigations to assess the scope and impact of security incidents.
  • Interface with external legal counsel, regulatory agencies, and law enforcement as necessary.
  • Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to incident response, cybersecurity, and data privacy.
  • Assist with drafting and negotiating contracts, policies, and procedures related to cybersecurity and data protection.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
