This position will be responsible for leading and managing learning technologies and learning spaces support at the University of Nebraska Kearney. Coordinate project development and implementation in alignment with University strategic objectives. Lead and promote learning technologies and spaces initiatives in collaboration with academic, administrative, and functional units. Contribute to enterprise academic technology software projects, implementations, and support. Manage and support audio visual projects, implementations, and support. Manage and support business intelligence initiatives and integrations related to academic technology.This position will uphold the ITS core principles of outstanding collaboration and communication, a drive to succeed, a passion for higher learning, and acting with integrity.

Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Instructional Media, Education, Library, or related area3 years of audio visual systems experience to include designing systems, supporting systems, gathering feedback fromfaculty, and establishing learning space technology standardsDemonstrated knowledge of information technology and its use in education, research and supportSound knowledge of managing Learning Management SystemsWorking knowledge of computer software/hardware including expertise in presentation, video, and audio (both Windows and Mac) Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of learning space designDemonstrated project management experienceSupervisory experienceExperience in a higher education environmentPost-secondary teaching experienceExperience working with multiple outside contractors Equivalent combination of education, experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
