Internal Auditor

Exciting Internal Audit role now available in Portland, OR. This team is full of curious people who are excited about their work. As in Internal Auditor, you will report into a kind and knowledgeable supervisor who promotes very balanced workload. As the best fit for this role, you must have a Bachelors degree and 1+ years of audit experience in a public accounting or corporate environment. A CPA or CIA would be appreciated, but isn’t required.

LOCATION: Hybrid, 2 days a week downtown PDX (Parking paid for)

COMPENSATION: $75,000-85,000 + bonus

THE ROLE:

• Help plan specific internal audits, including risk assessments and audit program development
• Financial, process and compliance audits - workpaper preparation
• Controls testing
• Drafting or audit reports
• Significant internal communication across various departments

YOUR BACKGROUND:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related is required
• 1-2 years of Audit experience, in public or corporate accounting is required
• Strong Communication skills – in person, phone and email
• Collaborative in nature, strong ability to work with a high-functioning team
• CPA or CIA preferred
