Opportunity Summary:
School based opportunity providing clinical support and case management within the school setting. The student/intern will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working to implement clinical goals based in a student's IEP and overall academic and behavioral support. This will include individual and group therapy, team meetings, individual and group supervision, and case management.
Opportunity Timeframe:
Academic school year- typically September- May- 3 days/week from 8am-4pm.
Eligibility Requirements:
Active student participating in Foundation or Advanced curriculum working toward Masters in Social Work.
Student Expectations:
The student is expected to adhere to professional standards and with support from clinical supervision, implement therapeutic strategies learned in the classroom.
Student Tasks:
Work with the clinical team, participate in clinical and team meeting, collaborate with student academic team, classroom observations/support, case management, group and individual therapeutic sessions.
