The IT – School Database Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining all student software and databases used across departments. Management and support of all software applications generating databases throughout the school. The IT– School Database Coordinator will, troubleshoot issues as they arise; assess and fulfill user training needs in effective use of applications, provide user assistance to school staff; and perform related work as required.

Desired Qualifications
AA/BA preferably in computer-related field or computer-related technical school.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, web-based applications and versions in and GSuite environment.
Strong knowledge in use of Powerschool (3 years or more) and able to operate current SIS.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
Responsibilities
Ensure optimal use of database functionality (PowerSchool, Clever, Google Classroom, Edoctrina, iReady, and other instructional software used by the school) to support school across departments.
Analyzes information needs of multiple users to assist in determining appropriate database application structures and report specifications.
Maintain and constructs database applications including procedures, modules, functions, automated events, and customized forms, queries, and reports as needed.
Prepare quarterly/yearly reports, process roster rollover, graduation and storing of grades as needed.
Develops written documentation, internal operating procedures, training on school databases/software systems to staff as needed and end user instructions.
Train and notify staff of changes to data entry and operational policies and procedures and provide ongoing technical assistance.
Provide database quality control; investigate and resolve data and reporting inconsistencies; develops and implements workflow, data entry, collection and reporting procedures.
Works collaboratively with staff in the planning processes to ensure that databases provide the required information and is used to its fullest capacity.
May serve as the contact for software vendor regarding database maintenance, product problems and services; collaborates with CFO regarding annual software contract negotiations.
Maintain accurate school software and database inventory and manage logins staff and students.
Maintain historical logs and troubleshoot internally and with outside proprietary vendor as needed.
Coordinate efforts with vendors accordingly to help maintain smooth integration across school databases.
Other tasks as assigned by the CFO.
