IT Specialist Expert

NYS Department of Financial Services (Client) is seeking a IT Specialist Expert consultant.

The IT Specialist will oversee the design and building of Java software applications. This includes researching, designing, documenting and modifying software specifications through the production lifestyle. The IT Specialist will also analyze and lead the effort to amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required.

Day To Day Task Include

• Write, translate, code and test software programs and applications according to specifications.
• Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
  
  

Requested Qualifications:

• 84 months of experience in PL/SQL
• 84 months of experience in Apex
• 84 months of experience in SQL Developer
• 48 months of experience in J2EE
• 48 months of experience in Eclipse
• 48 months of experience in Tomcat
  
  

Work hours and location:

• Part-time role with engagement length of 30 months
• Daily work hours: 9:00am-5:00pm
• Physical office location: 1 State Street Plaza, New York, NY 10004
• Telecommuting options: 50%
