Maimonides Medical Center currently has an excellent opportunity for a full time, highly motivated finance professional to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.


Specifically, some responsibilities will be:

  • Undertake projects on a variety of financial matters as required (e.g., methods of improving operations, analyses of industry standards); identify budget and finance related issues
  • Assist the Director Finance Budget/ DSS Operations in monitoring, reconciling payroll, general ledger and benchmarking statistics/ data feeds
  • Assist departments in preparing budgets, analyzing budget variances and developing means of improving budget performance.
  • Develop and implements inservice programs for departments on budgeting, basic business techniques and fiscal programs for staff of various departments


To qualify, you must possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field required.
  • 0-2 years of financial analysis or cost accounting experience required, preferably in a health-care setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is Required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access is Preferred
