Reports to: SVP, Director, Digital Solutions

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative technology solutions that drive the success of our healthcare marketing initiatives. As a Lead Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. In this hybrid role, you will be expected to spend a minimum of 2 days per week on-site at a Calcium+Company office or client location.

Key Job Responsibilities

(Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)

  • Solution Design and Architecture:
  • Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive technology solutions that support healthcare marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet the highest standards of security and performance
  • Write and review code to implement architectural designs, ensuring robustness and scalability
  • Technical Leadership:
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them through complex technical challenges
  • Advocate for best practices in software development, data management, and system integration
  • Engage in hands-on programming to set standards and exemplify best practices
  • Web and Front-End Development:
  • Oversee the development of web applications, ensuring they are user-friendly, responsive, and optimized for performance
  • Lead front-end development efforts, utilizing modern frameworks and technologies to create engaging user interfaces
  • Write and maintain code for front-end components, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
  • Platform Integration:
  • Design and implement solutions that integrate with IQVIA, Veeva, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Adobe Experience Manager, and Crownpeak, ensuring seamless data exchange and enhanced marketing capabilities
  • Leverage data from these platforms to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance
  • Develop and maintain integration scripts and middleware to facilitate data flow between platforms
  • DevOps Management:
  • Implement and oversee DevOps practices to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes
  • Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are efficient and effective
  • Write and maintain scripts for build automation, deployment, and infrastructure management
  • Manage website hosting environments, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our solutions and business strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance our technology stack and processes
  • Experiment with new technologies through coding prototypes and proof-of-concepts
  • Collaborative Project Management:
  • Work closely with the Project Management team to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals and objectives
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies in collaboration with Project Managers to ensure effective coordination and execution
  • Participate in coding tasks within projects to ensure alignment with architectural standards and project goals
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Oversee the quality assurance process, including code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability
  • Engage in hands-on testing and debugging to ensure solutions meet quality standards

Job Qualifications (Skills/Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture, software development, or a related role
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure technology solutions
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern software development frameworks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in web development, front-end development, email development, and banner development
  • Experience with IQVIA, Veeva, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Adobe Experience Manager, and Crownpeak platforms
  • Experience in leading Scrum meetings and working within agile methodologies
  • Experience in website hosting management
  • Experience in implementing and managing DevOps practices
  • Proficient in programming languages and frameworks relevant to the responsibilities
  • Experience in the healthcare or marketing industry is a plus
  • Must be able to work on-site a minimum of 2 days per week in a Calcium+Company office or client location
