Learning Designer
Project Overview:
Work with the education team to improve the quality and evaluation of upcoming features, enhancing learning for school, work, and life.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Consult with education product teams on product design focused on enhancing teaching experiences backed by learning sciences research.
- Evaluate the quality of education products and provide recommendations from an educator’s perspective.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Evaluate education products using standard templates.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine genAI outputs, including prompt engineering.
- Assess and recommend product improvements based on rapid iteration cycles.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- 4+ years of K12 educator/tutoring experience in multiple subjects, in-person or online.
- Degree in education, instructional design, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience with prompt engineering using any genAI tool for education scenarios.
- Proficiency with GSuite products (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience teaching educators (e.g., leading professional development sessions at multiple grade levels).
- Advanced education in pedagogical principles and learning sciences.
- Experience consulting with education technology products
