Job Overview

As a Learning Facilitator, you will play a critical role in delivering engaging and effective learning experiences to participants while helping learners connect the knowledge, they're acquiring to desired business outcomes. Your role involves facilitating group discussions, providing guidance, and fostering a positive and interactive learning environment. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, company stakeholders, and the Learning and Development team to ensure the successful delivery of training programs.

  • This position is on a 3-year or project completion, fixed-term basis and is on a hybrid schedule, based in Indianapolis, IN. This will be considered a full-time, benefits-eligible position for that period***

Responsibilities

  • Facilitation:
  • Facilitate in-person or virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Create facilitation guides for existing and new learning experiences to ensure a consistent learning experience
  • Lead "train the trainer" sessions when learning will be delivered by subject matter experts
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation.
  • Content Delivery:
  • Deliver training content according to established curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Adapt delivery methods based on the needs and learning styles of participants.
  • Engagement:
  • Encourage participant interaction through discussions, activities, and group exercises.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere that enhances the learning experience.
  • Assessment:
  • Evaluate participant understanding and skill acquisition during training sessions.
  • Administer assessments or quizzes to measure learning outcomes.
  • Feedback and Improvement:
  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners and contribute insights for program improvement.
  • Logistics and Support:
  • Coordinate logistical aspects of training sessions, including materials, technology, and room setup.
  • Offer support to participants, addressing questions or concerns related to the learning content.
  • Continuous Learning:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new educational methodologies.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance facilitation skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education, training, human resources, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience as an exemplary learning facilitator, trainer, or similar role in a business environment.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a relentless positive attitude.
  • Ability to adapt facilitation techniques to different learning styles and diverse learning environments.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles is a plus.
  • Familiarity with adult learning theories and methodologies (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick Model, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
