Learning Strategist

We are working with a client in the energy sector in locating a consultant for L&D/OD support to develop a learning strategy. The strategist will recommend an approach, develop clear goals and objectives and a plan for designing and developing a variety of creative and compelling learning solutions designed to be delivered through various modalities. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating the existing training program for effectiveness and instructional soundness and then planning the strategic approach for a program of applied knowledge training engagements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and eLearning technologies.
• Curriculum/program mindset with strong instructional design skills
• DDI certification
• Experience developing training for midstream talent, oil & gas industry knowledge, and value chain upstream knowledge
• Ability to tie training back to business results
• Experience with the Workday LMS
• Knowledge of Articulate 360
• Understanding of the DISC assessment

Start Date: Late June 2024

Duration: through the end of 2024, with possible extension or conversion to FTE

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Part-virtual, occasional onsite in Tulsa, Oklahoma

The pay range is $60 to $65 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
