Locum Medical Physicist

Cancer center in Indianapolis, IN in need of a Locum Medical Physicist to start on 6/24/2024.

There are two Elekta VersaHDs at the Main facility and one at the sister site. All linacs are beam-matched, allowing patient QA to be done anywhere. Monaco and Oncentra TPS with Mosaiq record and verify.

Patient volume: :60-75 patients per day, with : 1-2 SBRT/SRS cases per day.

QA device used for patient-specific QA: All Sun Nuclear equipment for QA (ARCcheck and SRS MAPcheck for patient QA)

2 Dosimetrist and 1 additional physicist onsite. Four oncologists rotate through.

SRS/SBRT planning to be directly overseen by physics staff.

SRS/SBRT treatments, physics is to be at the console.

TBI cases to be conducted/supervised by physics

Surgical ocular implants to be overseen by physics for implants and removals

GYN HDR cases : 1-2 patients a month

Physics needs to be onsite/present one Saturday per month when the ocular implants are removed.
