We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimise our logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to support business operations and enhance efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate the entire supply chain process, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor and analyse logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Negotiate contracts with logistics providers and monitor their performance to ensure service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve logistics processes.
- Lead and develop the logistics team to achieve operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in logistics management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain management, and transportation processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with logistics software and technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or another language is a strong asset.
