Waukesha West High School has a Long-Term Substitute Science Teacher position available.

The school is seeking a teacher who has the following experience or abilities:

build positive relationships with students in order to inspire them to work toward mastery of the standards
experience teaching within the reading and writing workshop model
work collaboratively in professional learning communities
plan instruction based on students' needs
utilize technology and optimize its instructional value
able to positively impact students and colleagues
open to growing professionally through coaching and other opportunities

Science license/experience preferred. Substitute teacher license holders may be considered.

Current Long Term Substitute Teacher Rate Schedule

1-20 Consecutive school days in a single assignment: $130/day

21+ Consecutive school days in a single assignment: $170/day
