Milestone Property Management is seeking someone with experience in maintenance to assist staff with coordination, inspection and troubleshooting of all types of maintenance and apartment turnovers, and ensure work is performed in a quality manner.
Experience in property management/real estate industry is preferred, but not mandatory, as we will train those with the desired level of maintenance experience.
This is a full-time position with hourly compensation from $24 to $26 depending upon experience levels. Milestone Property Management also provides great benefits including group medical, dental, life insurance, holidays and paid time off.
Responsibilities
Tracking and performing of annual unit and property inspections
Performing pre-move-in and move-out inspections
Reviewing required vs optional repairs with supervisors and making recommendations
Record, track and update inspections in property management software database
Creating reports and work orders (including pictures)
Occasionally perform minor repairs as needed (i.e., change locks, smoke detectors, etc.)
Assist with special projects when necessary
Participates in a standby emergency schedule for after-hours coverage
Perform routine inventory and inspections of property equipment
Possess knowledge of water, gas meter and fixture cutoffs, sewer-clean-outs
Qualifications
At least 2 years of maintenance experience, (preferably in the property management/real estate industry, as a maintenance/handyperson or a property manager)
Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft office and industry software (knowledge of AppFolio is a plus!)
Is proficient with cell phone (Android or iPhone) technology
Above average oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize
Valid Driver-s License and reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
