Nuasin Next Generation Charter School is in search of motivated, mission-aligned individuals that want to join us in providing the scholars and families of the Highbridge section of the Bronx with the truly excellent school they need and deserve. We are looking for educators that believe in the talent and intellectual capabilities of our scholars. We are looking for educators that are excited to engage and ignite our scholars in deep intellectual engagement of great ideas, problem-solving activities, and a complex understanding of our academic content. The anticipated salary range is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 for a candidate who will work in New York City. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience to the job, education, and certifications.

A Manager of Data at Nuasin Next Generation Charter School will:

  • Maintain an updated inventory of instructional curriculum throughout the school building and manage the process of replenishing as deemed necessary by school leaders
  • Maintain an updated classroom supply inventory throughout the school building and manage the process of replenishing as deemed necessary by school leaders and in partnership with the Manager of Operations.
  • Manage the progress report and report card process including setting up the reporting cycles, supporting teachers with weighting in accordance with the grading policy, and ensuring teacher completion of report cards in advance of administrative approval
  • Manage relationships with academic vendors and partners including curriculum providers, academic software, and other academic support providers
  • Partner with the Manager of Marketing and Talent Acquisition to schedule interviews in accordance with the school schedule and provide operational expertise to in-person interviews
  • Manage the relationship with outside instructional technology vendors and serve as the liaison between the vendors and instructional leadership and teachers
  • Support the special education team with acquisition of related service providers in conjunction with the special education coordinator
  • Support teachers and leaders by conducting classroom observations.
  • Updating Website, as needed in partnership with Manager of Talent Acquisition and Marketing.
  • Support with K-8, 9-12 and full school wide events
  • Conduct professional development for full staff, K-8 staff and 9-12 staff on data assessment including but not limited to data acquisition, data analysis,data use and reflection.
  • Provide visuals, analysis and comparisons of our data with district, city, state and national metrics for school marketing purposes.
  • Lead and own the planning, logistics, ordering, execution, communication and review of planning for all testing at Nuasin including but not limited to communication to families, communication to leaders, communication to staff, room assignmentsm grouping, professional development for staff, analysis of data in various ways to ensure audience receives the proper information as well as day of execution.
  • Manage of Illuminate, our data system for testing and assessments.
  • Partner with Manager of Operations to ensure adequate supplies for all testing.
  • Lead the administration of schoolwide assessments (Interim assessments and other assessments such as NWEA) including scheduling, proctor assignments, technology setup, and communication of assessment plans to all stakeholders
  • In conjunction with Assistant Principals, support with operational coordination of 3-8 State Testing and Regents examinations including but not limited to setup of process for check-in and check-out of testing materials, procurement of testing materials, requisition of testing from the state
  • Create, maintain and update the school’s data dashboard for the Board of Trustees and adjust as necessary based upon the feedback received from school and board leadership
  • Create public school data visuals as requested by board and school leadership.
  • Partnership with the Director of School Culture and Manager of Operations to manage attendance and efforts to increase attendance rates in the school
  • Partner with the Manager of Operations to complete all local, state, and federal level reporting requirements including the DOE Annual Report, ESSA compliance, and other mandated reports
