About the Team

The Platform Innovation team leads up the strategy, launch + scaling of DoorDash's nascent bets for its' white-label restaurants business.

About the Role

You will report into our Senior Manager + Head of Platform Innovation and serve as a member of our broader Restaurant Platform organization. This role will scale up to lead all core operations functions of the business including onboarding, launch + support for our restaurants.

  • Own the build of functional areas for the business from the bottom ups (building process + SLAs, scale a team to 10+ employees, define success metrics + execute against them)
  • Scale a business at a rapid pace while working directly with world-class leaders such as DoorDash's Co-Founder + VP of Restaurant Platform

  • You have 5-8 years of working experience in roles such as but not limited to: startup/ restaurant tech/software strategy & operations, hardware + logistics operations
  • You are a flawless executor who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get to the lowest level of detail to solve problems
  • You love building process - we are building a product that requires DoorDash to operate differently - this requires new systems and ways of doing business
  • Your cross-functional partners love you. We are a small scrappy team which means that we work closely across teams and departments to reach our goals. You can communicate, collaborate and drive alignment across product, engineering, sales, onboarding + support
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity, changing priorities and putting out fires - we are an early stage product and this will come with the territory
  • You are analytical - your first instinct is to go deep in the data to solve our problems
  • You are a strong people manager with experience managing multiple direct reports (including but not limited to hourly workers). You can motivate and mentor talent, regardless of circumstances
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of business days is required
  • Experience working closely with technical products is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google products; knowledge of SQL is a plus

Compensation

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

In addition to base salary, the compensation package for this role also includes opportunities for equity grants.

California Pay Range:

$136,000—$214,800 USD

New York Pay Range:

$143,200—$214,800 USD
