Marketing Associate- E-commerce

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Freelance Marketing Associate to join our e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with excellent multitasking abilities and a strong understanding of marketing principles. This role involves writing campaign and email briefs, crafting compelling copy for emails, headlines, primary text, and CTAs, and assisting in the creation of organic and paid social media content. Experience with Klaviyo, BlueCore, Attentive, and Shopify Plus, is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and write campaign and email briefs to support e-commerce initiatives.
• Craft engaging and persuasive copy for email and SMS marketing campaigns, including headlines, primary text, and calls-to-action (CTAs).
• Assist in creating and managing content for organic and paid social media channels, including headlines, primary text, and other copy as needed.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure all marketing materials are visually appealing and align with brand guidelines.
• Coordinate with the e-commerce team to ensure all marketing campaigns are aligned with sales and product launches.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
• Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
• Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred).
• Proficiency in project management tools (Trello preferred).
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus preferred).
• Experience with social media management tools (Sprout Social preferred).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Passion for women's golf, tennis, and activewear is a plus.
