We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our corporate Marketing Team in Irvine, CA.

As the Marketing Specialist for field and campus support, you will serve a critical role within the organization, ensuring we support our campuses in delivering one standard of excellence and providing a world-class student experience. The Marketing Specialist must exercise discretion and independent judgment in coordinating campus events, student and campus communications, campaigns and rollout of new campuses and programs. This person will be overseeing the production of marketing materials both in printed and digital format and coordinating the logistics for materials delivery at campuses. The ideal candidate will have strong organization and planning skills, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assist with marketing and advertising activities to drive lead generation and support for campus enrollment goals;
  • Acting as main liaison for all campus requests, needs, promotional events, and communications on marketing plans and lead flow;
  • Conducting market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and market insights;
  • Overseeing development of creative requests such as flyers, brochures, collateral, email, landing pages, display ads, etc., as well as collaborating with other departments as necessary;
  • Overseeing copywriting, design, layout, and production of promotional materials;
  • Managing large format graphics, including exterior signage and campus wall graphics;
  • Building and managing relationships with vendors, and assist creative team with releasing print-ready files to vendors and/or media partners;
  • Managing inventory and ordering site for campus and corporate merchandise and marketing collateral;
  • Managing day-to-day operations and communications with outside agencies on ongoing media execution, channel performance and various projects;
  • Assisting director of marketing with special projects, g rowth initiatives, promotions and campaigns; including improving our student experience and referrals;
  • Assisting Social Media team with project support and coordination;
  • Maintaining Marketing department intranet and associated training resources;
  • Overseeing month-end billing and invoicing process, including collecting and processing invoices from vendors and agencies;
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members;
  • Complying with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to marketing activities;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Experience, Education and Skillset

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations.
  • At least 3-5 years marketing and advertising experience.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with standard and large format print and print processes .
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management software like Asana, Monday, Trello, Basecamp or Smartsheet preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus .
