Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Greensburg, PA, Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. We are also closed major holidays. As a Medical Assistant or Trainee at Zaccagnini Medical Associates, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical facility. This position is not responsible for blood draws, injections or other procedures. The ideal candidate will be familiar with medical office operations and terminology. Experience is preferred but will train a reliable, motivated applicant with excellent people skills who is willing to learn. Compensation based on qualifications.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a medical assistant training program or relevant experience is a plus
Knowledge of or willing to learn medical terminology and basic medical conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws
Basic computer skills
Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to work effectively with an established team
