The MSR Trade Support Analyst is responsible for assisting in preparing settlement and funding schedules for monthly flow and bulk Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) purchases. The candidate will also be responsible for month end reporting to Capital partners and processing Repurchase demands from Agencies.
What You Will Do
Assist in the settlement, funding and reconciliation of flow and bulk MSR purchases
Prepare monthly distribution and performance reports to capital partners
Process Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Agency repurchases requests and co-ordinate with sellers
Work with Finance and other departments to co-ordinate funding calculations and wire transfers
Assist with producing MSR purchase activity, portfolio risk and performance reports
Co-ordinate quarterly portfolio valuation and fund allocation setup for bulk MSR acquisitions
Assist with transaction management and co-ordinate with servicing and other teams
Support internal department needs and requirements as well as external business partners

Other ad-hoc requests and projects as assigned by management

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to sit for extended periods of time is essential.
Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required.
Education And Experience
Proficient with computer skills and related software such as MS Excel and Word
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
Minimum of two years of Financial Analysis experience.
Prior mortgage servicing and capital markets experience strongly preferred
SQL experience required
