Job Purpose

The Vehicle Attribute Engineer will work with the Attribute/Test and engineering teams as well as other stakeholders in order to achieve the Vehicle(s) Attribute targets

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the different Attribute Teams to define and meet the Vehicle Attributes targets
  • Key interface between Oklahoma team and Attribute team in other sites
  • Benchmark competitor set for target references. Coordinate Attribute teams to plan and execute real-world evaluations & collect jury feedback to feed into Attribute Target Book
  • Coordinate and execute Attributes Drive Sessions and vehicle/systems evaluations including robust reporting, documenting issues in the proper systems and providing recommendations
  • Create/Maintain a standard Attribute Scorecard, Attribute Target Book, ensure effective and on time closure of issues. Execute a frequent and robust escalation process
  • Weekly report out development status (Scorecard) and track KPI's; organize and facilitate necessary meetings with Attribute Leads and Attribute Chief Engineer and other stakeholders
  • Support defining the Vehicle Attribute workstream, processes, documents, and metrics
  • Identify and document all project deliverables and the timing of those milestones within an overall program framework
  • Provide insight around potential risks and opportunities, resolve conflict, initiate resolution and deliver results

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering
  • Preferable - technical knowledge of Electric Vehicles key systems
  • Preferable - 5+ years’ experience on Vehicle Attributes or Test engineering
  • Ability working cross functionally with multiple teams
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems. Use evidence based rational to support arguments
  • High level of maturity and integrity, work as a team member, easy to do business with, strong drive for results and work in a self-directed manner
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced skillset with MS Excel, MS Project, MS Power Point. Preferable- Atlassian JIRA and Siemens Polarion. Ability to quickly learn new program management software tools
