Nutrition Supervisor

This position performs a variety of supervisory functions related to the delivery of meals to patients and residents and cafeteria. Will demonstrate the ability to provide services to infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Main areas of responsibilities are: providing leadership and supervision to staff; maintaining kardex and menus; preparing production sheets; overseeing trayline. # # Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities: v##### High school education or equivalent. v##### A minimum of two years experience working in food service. v##### Prior supervisory experience is preferred. v##### Completion of course work on modified diets from an accredited institution. v##### Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. v##### Ability to organize tasks and work in a busy environment. v##### Ability to work with detailed information and to demonstrate accuracy. v##### Ability to appropriately direct others in the completion of their duties. v##### Ability to work with little or no supervision. v##### High degree of tact and consideration in communication and interpersonal skills. #
