Seeking a highly motivated, disciplined, and resourceful Outside Sales Representative. This crucial role involves promoting and selling our innovative ophthalmic medical equipment to Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. The successful candidate will be comfortable with extensive travel throughout Florida and eventually the entire East Coast. They must efficiently plan routes to maximize client interactions, utilizing online resources to create new business opportunities. A personal car and a valid driver's license with a clean record are essential. The candidate should be prepared for extended periods away from home.
Responsibilities:*
Utilize online resources to plan driving routes strategically, maximizing opportunities for new business development and client meetings.
Conduct face-to-face client meetings to understand their needs and present appropriate product solutions.
Demonstrate product features and benefits, effectively aligning them with specific client requirements.
Negotiate sales agreements, finalize deals, and consistently strive to meet sales targets.
Foster long-term relationships with clients, providing high-quality after-sales service and responding promptly to their queries.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and seminars to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
Regularly provide sales forecasts and reports to management.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
Efficiently manage personal logistics, including accommodations and meals, during travel periods.
Qualifications:*
At least 3 years of experience in an outside sales role, ideally in the healthcare or medical device industry.
Possession of a personal car, a valid driver's license with no misdemeanors, and a willingness to travel extensively.
A proven record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and goals.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with superior planning and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A strong understanding of medical equipment, with the capability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
Willingness to spend long periods on the road, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
