ABOUT THE POSITION:

Our Sales Development Coordinator is a newly created function within the Business Development Team. The Sales Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Director of Marketing, Director of Business Development & the Business Development team in the development of new clients, creating opportunities for expansion within our existing customer base and closing business for select inbound leads and house accounts.

The Sales Development Coordinator will conduct outbound prospecting on Unified Power’s leads and Existing Customers, while responding to the needs of inbound prospect inquiries. Overall the position will provide customer-centric consultative sales on Unified Power’s services and products. The Sales Development Coordinator will support ‘house’ accounts through ongoing communication and sales support developing and maintaining client relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prospecting directly to Unified Power inactive accounts, interacting with inbound web leads and inbound calls, and creating new relationships for Unified Power through value-added selling techniques

Directly propose, present, and close new business with direct customers and channel partners

Campaign current customers to communicate insights regarding their account status with the intent to identify opportunities to upsell directly or through the Business Development Team

Plan and present Unified Power to prospective and current customers via phone and web conferencing

Support the Business Development Team as an inside operations liaison and business development champion

Support the Director of Marketing and the EVP of Sales, aiding in the execution of sales & marketing strategies

Work collaboratively with internal teams supporting sales

Manage customer information appropriately in our NetSuite CRM

REQUIREMENTS:

Associate degree, or equivalent training and experience in sales, business, or customer service organization

Minimum 3 years' business development experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or account management

Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, Web based tools or CRM tools, preferably NetSuite

Experience with small to medium size business account management

Effective selling and good interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage time wisely

Tremendous communications, decision-making, presentation and organizational skills

Ability to perform multiple tasks and complete short-term and/or long-term tasks and project assignments on time

Competitive nature, Demonstrate a customer & sales focused mentality

Strong desire to learn, develop, and grow and advance as a Business Development Professional

Tradeshow support may be necessary, total travel not to exceed 15% (Scheduled far in advance)
