Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Mentorship
- Lead and manage activities, tasks, and a team of Testing Engineers and interns.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Technical and Project Management
- Oversee project management tasks including technical documentation, report writing, and package design & prototyping.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in pharmaceutical packaging development and performance testing.
- Client and Vendor Interactions
- Conduct direct consultations with clients and participate in design reviews.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and coordinate with package testing vendors.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration to execute necessary tests.
- Training and Development
- Assist in developing training materials for new hires within the Test Services program.
- Work closely with the Package Design and Engineering teams to support new client projects and enhance testing capabilities.
- Lab and Testing Services
- Aid in the planning and deployment of a new onsite Package Testing Lab to improve packaging performance feasibility testing.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in the Life Sciences industry (Biotech, Pharma, Med Device).
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of regulatory standards (ASTM, ISTA, ISO, etc.) and packaging qualification processes (distribution simulation testing, human factors & usability testing, child resistance and adult-friendly testing).
- Familiarity: Proficiency with industry terminology, norms, language, and systems.
- Soft Skills: Highly motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable in a leadership role, capable of mentoring and guiding team members.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in project management, technical documentation, report writing, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Direct client consultations and design reviews.

- Collaborate with the team to execute necessary tests.
- Develop new hire training materials.
- Support the planning and deployment of the Package Testing Lab.
