The Mathematics Department in the VTSU school of STEM invites applications for Fall 2024 (August 26, 2024-December 20, 2024) for a course to be taught at an industry partner facility in Williston, Vermont.
The course to be taught is PHY 1051-Physics I
3 hours of Lecture and 3 hours of Lab per week
This course is a thorough algebra-based study of the basic principles of physics. Topics include systems of measurement; dynamics, including motion, acceleration, forces producing motion, work, energy, and power; momentum and the conservation laws; statics, including concurrent and noncurrent forces; and fluids.
This course is offered through VTSU-Workforce, Community and Economic Development (WCED) at Global Foundries in Williston, Vermont.
Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a Masters degree or better in Math or equivalent experience in the field. Teaching experience at the college level is preferable.

Salary
Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
