People Partner Manager in GAC Savannah

We are looking for two managers to support and lead their own team of People Partners. One position will lead the team of People Partners that supports Savannah Customer Support, Sales, and Programs/Supply Chain/Quality. The other will lead the People Partners that support Savannah based Completions organization. The 6 years of related experience required needs to be as a HRBP and/or HRBP manager.

Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Master's Degree preferred. 6 years of progressively responsible related HR experience to include 1 year experience managing professional level employees or complex program, projects and processes. Other PHR preferred. Position Purpose:Supports our business by having a first-hand feel for business imperatives, culture, and engagement. Brings the people perspective when designing solutions to day-to-day challenges and opportunities. Coaches our people to ensure a positive people experience. Responsible for people relations issues to include dispute mediation, investigations, and policy compliance. Provides support to both people and people leaders.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:

  • Embedded member of the team who understands business imperatives, culture and people insights .
  • Utilizes experience and expertise to provide solutions to people leaders .
  • Listens to and coaches people as an agent for positive people experiences. Translates trends to solution recommendations for overall `people engagement improvement .
  • Conducts thorough and fair investigations and recommends meaningful and consistent corrective action. Ensures investigations are completed timely and appropriately documented .
  • Monitors and gathers insights through data and analysis to ensure consistency .
  • Partners with People Programs to ensure effective program and project delivery to Organization .
  • In conjunction with the COEs, People Strategist and People Programs, evaluates program and policy effectiveness and makes recommendations for future program and policy investments based on market and business .
  • Actively communicates with the People Team to ensure awareness at all levels of the People Team. Participates and adds context in talent management for respective business areas, as well as, talent management across the enterprise through strong collaboration .
  • Earns influence for the People function, as well as personally, across the organization through integrity as an operator, accuracy through analytics and insights and collaboration in driving and owning "One People Team” .
  • Develops People Team talent across the People Team organization .
  • Acts as the "change agent" for customer initiatives .
  • Develops and achieves a cost conscious budget and displays a return on investment mindset in all actions and proposed spend .

Additional Functions:

  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships across the organization .
  • Travel approximately 0-50% .

  • Exceptional consulting, planning and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience of effectively managing multiple priorities and anticipating the needs of the business.
  • Ability to relate to, influence and coach employees at all levels of an organization.
  • Proven track record of strong judgement, collaboration and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office and comfort with learning and leveraging new technology.
  • Experience identifying potential legal risks and concerns related to employment laws .
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems and recommend impactful solutions driven by a root-cause analysis mindset.
  • Proven experience establishing credibility within business.
  • Manages and develops assigned direct reports.
