Pharmacist
Full-time, rotating days/evenings
8-hour Rotating Shifts, Every Other Weekend And Holiday
$30,000 Sign on Bonus

Requirements
Regional Hospital of Scranton is a 186-bed, acute care hospital nationally recognized for quality, especially in the areas of orthopedics, robotic surgery, cardiac care, stroke care, and neurology. Offering all private rooms, Regional is the first hospital in Pennsylvania to earn all four orthopedic certifications by The Joint Commission - hip fracture, and knee, hip, and shoulder replacement as well as advanced certification. Scranton is a city steeped in rich history, a vibrant arts scene, outdoor adventures, and a wide variety of delicious cuisine. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy, Pharm. D is preferred
- Completion of ASHP accredited residency is preferred but not required
- BPS certification is preferred
- Healthcare CPR
- Current Licensed Pharmacist by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Two (2) years healthcare experience is preferred
- Reports to Assistant Director of Pharmacy.
- Provides clinical pharmacy services to include therapeutic monitoring, drug regimen, patient education, and medical staff interaction.
- Performs order entry of prescriber's orders.
- Conducts drug utilization review studies.
- Consults with medical practitioners on prescription orders, patient reactions, and errors.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Prepares IV medication.
