Our client is seeking a skilled Piping Designer with current AutoCAD 3D Plant Design experience. The ideal candidate will be capable of producing modeled deliverables that are safe, free of errors, and require minimal supervision. This position requires experience in designing piping within the Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical industries. The candidate must be capable of interpreting the requirements of Piping Material Specifications and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, as well as have familiarity with industry codes and standards.
Proficiency in modeling piping and equipment using AutoCAD Plant 3D software
Ability to determine appropriate pipe support types and required locations
Experience with Model Review software, preferably Navisworks software
Familiarity with Laser Scan and model combinations
Ability to develop General Equipment Arrangements
Experience Required
10+ years of Piping Design experience within the Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical industries
3+ years of recent experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D
Education Preferred
Associate's degree in Drafting Program or equivalent technical certification
