Responsibilities/Job Duties
- Monitor daily trading operations, including end-to-end processes from trade operations to settlement
- Perform investment due diligence on existing and prospective investments
- Create and present reports and recommendations to internal parties with respect to funds under coverage, opportunities, and risk
- Assist with reviewing and responding to amendments, consents, and investor side letter compliance requirements
- Assist with the education and training of bankers, financial advisors, and clients across hedge fund strategies and individual funds
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on various investment opportunities
- Support investment and risk team by responding to queries on individual account transactions and positions
- Track and analyze margin excess and finance requirements across accounts
- Communicate and report any fluctuations or discrepancies in analyses
- Research foreign markets to assess regulatory and tax issues involving trading
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 2-5 years of relevant experience with a hedge fund or financial institution
- Advanced Excel skills with some SQL/programming knowledge
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
