Responsibilities
Join our team as a full-time Clinic Practice Manager for an independently-owned medical practice in Anchorage, Alaska. Essential job responsibilities include:
Oversee daily office operations. Identifies and resolves operational problems. Delegates authority to assigned supervisors/leads.
Actively engage with the MedMan Client Services Delivery Team to ensure the practice's success.
Accountable for the recruiting, hiring, orientation, development, evaluation and discipline of staff.
Supervises personnel. Prepares payroll for employees.
Managing disputes and conflicts involving patients and staff
Develops, with input from key stakeholders, and implements clinic policies and procedures.
Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary. Ensures that office is staffed appropriately.
Participates in professional development efforts to ensure currency in health care practices and trends.
Establishes and maintains an efficient and responsive patient flow system.
Oversees and approves office supply inventory.
Negotiating with service providers, suppliers and medical sales representatives
Supports and upholds established policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control, and codes and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
Maintains patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA.
Performs other related duties as directed or required.
