Practitioner Educator (Remote)

Client: Our client is a prominent player in health & nutrition, bringing together the best names in natural medicine to deliver superior and scientifically proven healthcare products! With a history that spans 70 years of science and research into herbal remedies, they are now at the forefront of natural medicine research and development. Their products are part of everyday life for millions of people around the world who are seeking natural ways to maintain long, healthy lives!


Role: We are seeking a Practitioner Educator to drive education for supplement brands in North America. This role will develop and deliver technical content in multiple formats of education and training to practitioner customers and internal staff. This person will be an expert on the company's healthcare practitioner brands. This may include seminars, webinars, VIP customer educational events, online educational broadcasts, and educational copy writing. Responsibilities include:


Customer Education:

  • Create and present educational content for various channels, including seminars, webinars, and conventions for practitioner brands.
  • Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations, treatment summaries, and support materials, ensuring technical and clinical relevance.
  • Use best-practice communication techniques to engage and positively influence customer behavior, measured by feedback and data.


Staff Training:

  • Create and deliver training for Sales, Clinical Support, and Education teams, focusing on cycle objectives, product launches, and key concepts, including induction programs to ensure foundational technical knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop continuous training programs and testing to maintain top-tier technical proficiency across all staff in customer interactions.


Speaker Liaison:

  • Review and edit speaker presentations, upskill speakers, and build a talent pipeline, ensuring strong advocacy of brands.
  • Secure speaking opportunities for internal speakers at US events, and attend events to scout content, speakers, and opportunities.


Ideation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Contribute ideas for new products and collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Actively generate new ideas and implement improvement measures to benefit the educational team.


Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Naturopathy/Nutrition/Herbal Medicine (or similar) required.
  • Extensive experience in, and a solid understanding of, the Practitioner natural healthcare industry (minimum 5 years’ experience).
  • Demonstrated track record of developing content and training/educating practitioners/customers with strong delivery and impact.
  • Able to speak to large audiences of healthcare professionals inclusive of practitioners with passion and conviction.
  • Must be able to connect with customers and build rapport at educational events.
  • Ability to draw on information from a number of sources to make timely and appropriate decisions.
  • Highly developed communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including identifying appropriate communication approach (both verbal and written), active listening and giving and receiving feedback.
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder management ability, both internal and external.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Computer literacy essential; experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Home office set-up in the United States.
  • Ability to travel domestically and occasional global travel.


Base salary range of $125,000 - $130,000 based on years of experience and a bonus potential of 10%. Other benefits include a generous healthcare allowance, 20 days of vacation, and paid company holidays.
