We are looking for a seasoned Principal DevOps Engineer to take on a challenging role within our organization. As both a leader and an individual contributor, you will mentor and lead a team of DevOps Engineers distributed across the globe, responsible for supporting our cybersecurity SaaS platform. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust and scalable infrastructure solutions, optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions for our SaaS platform.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery process and enable rapid deployment of new features and updates.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of our systems.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and support the development and deployment of new features.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cybersecurity, continuously improving our processes and technologies.
Help recruit, lead, and mentor a global team of DevOps Engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Extensive experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles, with a focus on supporting large-scale SaaS platforms.
Proven track record of implementing and running DevOps in a cloud environment, preferably with AWS.
Experience implementing and maintaining APM solutions (New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics) is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, along with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker.
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with related tools such as GitHub Actions.
Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading global teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
