Quest Global is looking for a high energy, dynamic team member for a Production Planning Manager role. This person is responsible for leading our planning and scheduling team. This key member will drive strategic and tactical activities to manage and improve on-time delivery, creation of production schedules throughout critical operations, improve overdue demand, and reduce inventory across the module center. The Production Planning Manager motivates and engages their teams to continuously improve and exceed customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Manages both the production control and material planning teams, and owns the establishment and execution of short to medium-term operational plans.

· Creates and maintains master production schedule (MPS).

· Facilitate the Supply Review meetings. Review MPS with Manufacturing, Programs, Demand Planning, Procurement and associated representatives

· Leads in the implementation of operational plans and prepares data for raw material, vendor support.

· Utilize consensus decision-making techniques to arrive at the best possible MPS to support the business goals and objectives.

· Oversee the management of inter/intra-plant work in process (WIP), promise dating, and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.

· Leads in the implementation of plans to minimize risks for short- and long-range shortages and escalates when needed to ensure successful customer delivery.

· Creates and executes plan for every part through creation of production schedules.

· This job requires clear and effective communication skills that will be utilized to address scheduling issues and drive cross-functional program teams towards meeting cost and schedule commitments to our external customers.

· This position requires a highly motivated self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives in a demanding environment.

Basic Qualifications:

· Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

Due to the nature of work a US Citizen is required

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in production control and/or materials planning

· Demonstrated experience in inventory management and delivery assurance

· Demonstrated experience using SAP and analytical skills to drive results

· Demonstrated experience leveraging strong operational background

· Demonstrated experience leveraging internal customer focus, relationship development and communication skills for continuous improvement, business and team success

· Demonstrated success in creating an engaged workforce and developing people
