Project Manager, CyberSecurity and Infrastructure

We have an immediate need for an IT Project Manager for CyberSecurity and Infrastructure related projects. Candidates should have recent, real-world project management experience with IT Infrastructure Projects.

The initial contract is 6 months (starting mid/late March) with the possibility of an extension based on performance. This is a remote position.

Candidates Must Be Skilled In

• Strong hands-on project management - at least 5 years of experience managing IT efforts.
• Emphasis will be placed on candidates that demonstrate a strong discipline around scope, resource, budget, timeline and risk management.
• The position also requires gathering and documenting requirements and other Business Analyst work.
• Excellent planning skills will be required.
• Management of large teams with members working in multiple locations including internal resources and systems integrators
• Management of multiple IT projects concurrently
• Experience with Agile methodologies using Waterfall using Microsoft Jira and Confluence and Project.
• PM Tools (planning, risk management, budgeting, cost control, assessment, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), English-language skills, facilitation skills, etc.
• Excellent people skills required.
  
  

While working remotely. Your candidates should have reliable high-speed internet and client will provide a VDI. The Developer Virtual Desktop Infrastructure allows for entitled users to access a virtual computer asset to complete tasks and processes relative to their role and responsibilities. Your employee needs to have a laptop/desktop to log into their assigned VDI. Your employee will install a VMware Horizon 7 compatible Client for Windows on their personal PC or one you provide once they are onboarded. This PC must have a currently supported operating system, which is regularly patched, and has updated commercial anti-malware software. To efficiently do the work, an additional monitor and a headset are required.
