Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for two full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty positions (#120170 and #120310) at the rank of lecturer. These are one-year temporary appointments with a possible annual renewal for up to three years. The start date for the appointments is August 1, 2024.
The successful candidate will teach various courses, such as general psychology (including dual enrollment), creativity, social psychology, personality, developmental, statistics, training and development, organizational psychology, group dynamics, and learning theories. The position is on-campus but may require teaching online courses.
Required Education
A master’s degree in psychology is required by the appointment date.
Other Desirables
Applicants with teaching experience or a PhD in psychology will receive special consideration.
