Essential Functions
- Develop data collection guides (e.g., interviews, focus groups).
- Manage qualitative data, including the de-identification process, prepare files for importing into qualitative data management software (e.g., NVivo), and transcription.
- Conduct semi-structured interviews or focus groups using guides that balance predetermined questions with the ability to pursue novel routes of questioning.
- Participate in qualitative coding and analysis across multiple types of data sources (transcripts, videos, photographs).
- Communicate r egularly w ith members of study team, collaborators, and research participants.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review ongoing mixed methods stud ies that integrate quantitative and qualitative work.
- Prepare and deliver presentations of ongoing work at research meetings.
