Job Title: QA Architect/QE Lead
Duration: 6 Months contract (contract to Hire)
Location: Onsite (Dallas, TX) (Relocation only if the candidate will come onsite from Day 1)

Key Responsibilities:
Direct the enterprise-level development of the QA strategy, methodology, discipline, and framework
Continuously evolve the Quality Engineering strategy, approach, and execution for the consumer lending IT landscape
Provide strategic direction and execution support for the QA leadership team across consumer loan origination, servicing, data, and system performance portfolios.
Provide leadership and technical expertise within Quality Engineering, implementing industry-leading practices and solutions
Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to improve quality outcomes via test automation and innovation continuously.
Participate in interviews, induction, training, and performance evaluation of all core QE team members (leads and subject matter specialists)
Implement and maintain quality engineering standards and govern them for high levels of adherence.
Establish synergy with application development & support teams to adhere to QA strategy principles, guidelines, and best practices.
Deliver continuous QA improvements, demonstrated through year-on-year improvements in the metrics/SLA, with a constant improvement quarterly plan
Review the utilization of Capacity, Testing Tools (Functional, Automation, Performance, Data), Environment, and Knowledge levels
Review the QA activities, leading practices, risks, and the impact to the projects/releases
Please look over the root cause analysis of the key issues related to the quality & implement corrective and preventive (CAPA) actions.
Review the utilization of Capacity, Testing Tools (Functional, Automation, Performance, Data), Environment, and Knowledge Assets
Gather and present Quality Metrics, KPI, SLA, and Trends to the IT and Business stakeholders.
Serve as an escalation point for testing and quality engineering matters and act as the primary point of contact for QE teams.
Desired Skills:
QE experience and commercial Loan / Mortgage industry knowledge
QA Program Management experience across multiple projects, in a global delivery model, with an innovation mindset
Ability to deliver large and complex programs, activities, & processes - motivate a team and recognize the top talent
Experience leading multiple aspects of testing, such as system, functional, regression, performance, etc;
Experience with QA in agile and waterfall methodologies.
Experience managing/developing coding of automated tests including unit, code UI, and load testing.
Provide thought leadership regarding the adoption of emerging trends in software quality assurance.
Proactive, strong-minded, quick thinker, and assertive personality with strong persuasion and negotiation skills
Excellent multi-level communication skills with key stakeholders - to provide timely updates to VP, C-Suite in both IT and Business
Providing leadership and building and maintaining strong win-win relationships across the business, IT, vendor partners and third-party providers
Excellent coordination skills in a fast-paced multi-vendor, Agile environment
Strong leader with experience in implementing and shaping QA processes and strategies
Strong technical skills in functional and non-functional testing, manual and automation
Very strong skills in Risk Management - Risk Identification and Mitigation
Experience managing testing departments or testing functions in an outsourced, managed services model.
Salary Range:
The salary for this position is between $150,000 – $170,000 annually.
Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
