Position Summary

ITT’s Cannon and Veam brands are world leaders in the design and manufacture of highly engineered harsh-environment connector and interconnect solutions. We operate on a global basis serving customers in the aerospace and defense, medical, transportation and industrial end markets.

Position Summary - The primary responsibility of this position is to lead our distribution strategy to deliver profitable revenue growth in the assigned geographic territory. This position will drive our distribution strategy while engaging with key partners and customers to grow our business. Success will require collaboration with sales, product management, marketing and pricing teams.

This position will be based in central FL and will require travel within the assigned geography.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Build influential relationships with distributor across all functions to support growth plans.
  • Strategic account management for distributor partners including training, funnel reviews, demand creation, forecasts management and plan performance.
  • Manages the achievement of assigned budgets (POS and new business)
  • Develops and drives growth strategies for new and existing product portfolio
  • Monitors competitive market intelligence, trends and makes adjustments as required
  • Partners with Regional Sales Managers and Corporate Distribution Sales Managers to develop and implement strategic campaigns
  • Manages cross functional activities as required between Product Management, Engineering, Customer Service, and Operations to support growth initiatives

Position Requirements

  • Ability to travel as required to support distributors, 25 - 50% estimated
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline
  • Electronic components manufacturer or distribution experience is required
  • Servant leader with strong team cooperation and support
  • Interconnect product knowledge is required
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to develop and drive strategic plan
  • Ability to lead and problem solve in unstructured environments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Location: Central Florida

Specific benefits are dependent upon whether or not the position is part of a collective-bargaining agreement. The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range

Annual Salary Range is from $82,600 to $123,800, plus benefits & incentive plans.
