Acel Power is seeking a dynamic Boat Builder District Sales Manager to manage sales and client relationships in the geographic territory of the South Eastern Region. The regions we are considering are the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, with experience in the marine industry.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, management of the assigned district, and using consultative selling skills to assist builders within the district to achieve the assigned unit wholesale and inventory level goals. The candidate maintains accurate records of district activity and communicates builder and market conditions to executive management through written as well as verbal reports. Will work from a home office, travelling overnight at least 60% of each month. If you are a motivated self-starter with a proven track record in sales, we encourage you to apply.

About You

  • Needs to be positioned in territory close to major airport.
  • Good selling skills and working knowledge of advertising, sales and promotion.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills required.
  • Equivalent education and years of experience
  • 4 years of field sales/service management experience in the marine industry.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Willing to travel overnight a minimum of 60% of each month.
  • Valid driver’s license and driving privileges.
  • Valid Passport.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to competently launch and operate a boat.
  • Participate in tradeshows
  • Experience in Hubspot an asset
  • Other duties as may be required
