Our Construction Group is seeking a full time Regional Warehouse Supervisor , at our Tampa, FL branch. This position would be to report directly to the Florida Director of Parts and the Florida General Parts Manager.

Responsibilities Include

• Supervision of the Regional parts warehouse located at 8981 Palm River Rd., Tampa, Florida.
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly working environment and use Alta issued PPE.
• Make sure all parts are clearly identified.
• Parts stored in the most efficient manner based upon size and weight and volume.
• The warehouse facility must be kept clean and organized and adequate shipping supplies maintained. Shipping Records will be maintained by date.
• All parts are to be protected and stored in such a way as to preserve quality and integrity.
• Maintain the daily safety inspection report of the forklift.
• Parts and materials are receipted into stock the same day they received in compliance with standard procedures and the packing list is uploaded to the purchase order, quantity circled or otherwise noted, signed and dated.
• Outgoing Shipments will be packaged, crated, or palletized in compliance with standard procedures to preserve the quality of the parts and shipped out the same day if received within the established cutoff time. Tracking information will be uploaded to the PSO or branch transfer and communicated to the receiving branch.
• Warehouse supervisory skills are a must in identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies or address areas of concern. The Florida Regional Warehouse must stand out as a model for all other parts warehouses to imitate.
• Work with various supplier parts portal to track and process shipments. Create online shipping labels and BOL’s using the World Wide Express website.
• Inventory Cycle Counting – Achieve quarterly established goals to complete in one year.
• Cycle Count Sheets are to be signed by both the counter and processor, dated, no lines left blank and uploaded.
• Investigate any Parts Shortages or Overages to identify the reason and take corrective action.
• Working hours are 7am to 5pm each workday.
• Make sure the facility is locked and secure before leaving each day.
• Process Supplier Returns and track process until credit is issued.
• Timely resolve any Accounts Payable issues.
• Train and oversee any additional warehouse personnel added in the future.
  
  

Requirements

• Must have extensive experience in warehousing and storage solutions.
• Must be organized with strong ERP skills, and effective communication.
• This is a key position to support branch operations therefore the applicant would need to display the “One Team” spirit and show “Mutual Respect”.
• This position calls for an individual who requires little oversight who can take control of a situation and create solutions.
