Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Research Associate who takes on the responsibility in Cellular Immunology Team. This position will require the skills to perform cellular assays on samples from preclinical and clinical studies, mainly by using Flowcytometric staining method.

Essential Functions

  • Operating and maintaining BD LSR Fortessa and BD Symphony
  • Manipulating immune cells from mice tissues and/or human PBMCs
  • Primary cell culture and manipulation
  • Executing multiple immunological assays such as Intracellular Cytokine Staining Assay, Flowcytometric staining, Elispot and ELISA
  • Recording and organizing documents
  • Assisting supervisor in data analysis and data reviewing
  • General lab organization and maintenance including equipment maintenance and calibration; cost-effective management of assay material and reagent inventories
  • Other responsibilities required during project studies

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Extensive experience with multi-color flowcytometric staining, including a good understanding of a 3-4 laser Flowcytometer and concepts of machine configuration, designing multi-color staining panels, and application of FACS Diva software.
  • Must have cell culture experience
  • Require good communication skills and teamwork
  • Ability to pay attention to details

Education, Experience, Licenses & Certifications (align with knowledge, skills, and abilities)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Immunology/Virology or relevant field and a minimum of 1 years of experience in research, pharmaceutical and/or vaccine development field.
