Collects relevant patient health data, analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and identifies individualized, expected outcomes for a specific population.
The RN systematically evaluates the patient’s progress toward attaining expected outcomes and adjusts care accordingly.
The RN acquires and maintains current knowledge and competency in the care of acute or critically ill patients.
Will be required to complete and maintain BLS certification.
Education, Training And Experience
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
BLS training required
ACLS & PALS required within 6 months of employment
Licensure / Certification Requirements
Currently licensed in the State of Louisiana to practice as an RN, or holds a temporary permit in the State of Louisiana
BLS certification.
