Safety Advisor

Brunel is working with a major oil and gas company, looking to hire an Safety Advisor I to support business in Carlsbad, NM for a one year assignment with the possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three years or greater in a field role
• General knowledge of field production operations
• Knowledge around support organizations (IC&E, Maintenance, Wellwork, ALS etc.) is preferred
• Must be able to build a case for action and influence behavioral change within the organization
• Must be a self-starter and able to work without supervision
• Must have good communication skills
• Able to build relationships with field personnel and stakeholders
• Manage travel to remote field sites o Travel to remote sites outside of your operating may involve early and late days
• Able to support trainings and field roll-outs outside of base operating area o Able to be away from home for one week per month
• Must be comfortable working with individuals across various crafts
• Must be comfortable presenting training material for large groups
• Must be capable of offering positive and constructive coaching
