Mininum Education & Experienece Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Engineering;
3+ years of proven field experience in Health & Safety.
Certified as Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)/ Occupational Health and Safety Technologists (OHST);
Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP), and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP);
Proven comprehensive knowledge of Safety & Health standard theories, practices, concepts, principles and techniques;
Proven working knowledge of pertinent Safety & Health practices and applications;
Proven working knowledge of technical aspects and ability to display competency in the daily aspects of both industrial and construction safety;
Proven work experience and ability to apply OSHA regulatory requirements to conditions in the field making official interpretations of requirements.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to pass a thorough Government background check including substance and alcohol screening to obtain and maintain a clearance.
Must have extensive operational experience in dynamic and challenging environment.
Must have a flexible schedule to work on-call as delegated by schedule..
JOB DUTIES (Include but not limited to and must have proven experience and ability to do with no training):
Provide conventional technical assistance to field operations on low to moderate risk scopes of work to ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, Local and/or company safety and health regulations.
Under general guidance, apply principles gained through formal education and significant work experience.
Analyze workplace activities and potential hazards to support initiatives within assigned facility(s) through review of work packages, walk downs, and observations.
Function as a generalist responsible for multiple Safety & Health (S&H) facets within assigned facility(s).
Responsible for identifying and mitigating hazardous conditions that affect workers, property, the environment, and the general public.

Benefits begin on the first day of the month following one full month worked on an approved SCA applicable federally funded assignment as a full-time (30 hours or more per week) non-exempt ActOne Government Solutions Federal Service Contract Associate.
