Sales Analyst I

Job Description

The Sales Operations Analyst I is responsible for helping the sales program manager with implementation and execution of agreements, development of processes and technologies that support the sales teams of the Water Heater Division.

This position will serve our Water Heater Division and is field based in Roswell, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate a smooth operational sales process for the Water Heater Division’s sales channels through process flow and mapping
  • Respond to inquiries and correspondence with business contacts and internal stakeholders
  • Manage the contract development, review, and maintenance process to ensure compliance with WHD standards and regulations of the industry
  • Support the sales channels by using measurement, process improvement, analytics, and tracking relevant intelligence to the sales channel’s specific areas of function
  • Ensure sales process adoption and compliance as well as identifying opportunities for improvement in the sales process and systems to ensure greater sales effectiveness and efficiency
  • Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts
  • Work closely with sales leaders to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommend revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
  • Support sales channels with finalizing appropriate sales documentation; quotes, Statements of Work, Purchase Orders, Licenses & Software authorizations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Operational Management, Business or related field or 2 to 4 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts and agreements.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across organizations.
  • Ability to present in front of small to midsized groups i.e. 10 or more.
  • Ability to think strategically with an innovative mindset (think outside the box).
  • Proficiency in Excel and decent understanding of CRM applications and strategies
  • Ability to balance simultaneous projects, evaluate workload, and prioritize tasks based on criticality
  • Project Management
  • Good communication, organizational and writing skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
