Sales Coordinator – Holiday Inn Express & Suites Johnstown

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Positive phone and email communication skills are a must, as you'll be responsible for handling leads and inquiries for group and corporate business. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to manage small meetings.
Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies for long-term partnerships.
Understand client needs to deliver personalized service and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
Manage group bookings, oversee block management, and provide personalized guest experiences and follow-up.
Maintain knowledge of sales processes, front office operations, and hotel systems to anticipate client needs.
Collaborate with the sales team with leads and inquiries.
Event Coordination And Administrative Tasks
Maintain records of bookings, contracts, and client interactions for efficient communication and follow-up through sales systems emails.
Prepare reports on sales performance, occupancy rates, and revenue to inform strategic decision-making.
Manage administrative tasks related to event planning, coordinate event bookings, and foster collaboration with other departments.
Requirements
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in hotel sales, event planning, or customer service is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail a must.
Proficiency in using hotel management software, and Microsoft Office programs including high proficiency in Excel and Word.
Sales-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to achieving targets.
