Satellite Design Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Design metallic structures and propulsion fluid systems
• Update designs and drawings through engineering change orders to support a rapid pace of design iteration
• Create a detailed component and assembly drawings incorporating an understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

• 2+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience, preferably in the space/aerospace industry
• Bachelors or Master's degree or 5 plus years equivalent experience after an association degree
• 2+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience, preferably in the space/aerospace industry
• Experience with 3D CAD software
• Good knowledge of CAD/CAM systems such as PTC CREO, CATIA V5, Siemens NX
• Good knowledge of PCB design and Altium, PLM. SAP is an asset.
• Experience with CNC machine is a plus

Salary Range: $90k to $120k

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
