Security Advisor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate advisor who can help figure out the HOW rather than saying NO. In this role you will liaise with internal departments and customers. You will work out best practices and act as a partner to solve security problems, suggest solutions and work through alternatives. Your success means leveling up security for the company and our customers by being a trusted contact in the organization for information security.

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers on their unique use cases to educate on security best practices
• Work with product and engineering teams on information security topics:
• How to enable use cases
• Deep dive into technical requirements
• Explore alternative solutions
• Work with legal, compliance and risk teams on how to meet identified regulatory information security needs
• Write best practice documentation based on your knowledge and collaboration with experts
• Assist with any incident response recovery activities as needed
• Track information security activities mapped to our commitments and obligations
• Willingness to take on related additional responsibilities as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in the information security industry
• Prior experience in a customer facing information security role
• Technical depth through positions held or education
• Ability to quickly learn new topics
• Highly organized and diplomatic
• Ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the organization
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Preference for people with prior experience in the Crypto industry

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $170,000 - $220,000 USD base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus and the benefits outlined below are also a part of this role's package.
